Well, I’m a week deep into my second semester at SUSOM. In the next few months I’ll become proficient in biochemistry, human physiology, and genetics.
My first impressions of semester 2 are that of pacing; everything seems to be less hectic overall. While time is still in somewhat of a crunch, my familiarity with the subjects gives me an advantage and lets me focus on the gaps in my knowledge.
I have a feeling there will be a significant amount of self-study this semester for some of the courses. Oh, also, my lunch break now only gives me 20 minutes at the gym. I figured strength training would be better if I concentrated on a single lift a day and took a break on the weekend. It’s sort of like a split I guess, which is what many people have railed agianst in the past, but I might as well try it.
